With a 25-year career in the technology industry, I’ve held General Manager and State Delivery Manager roles in Australian technology consulting firms, followed by senior leadership roles in global teams at Amazon Web Services.
I’m also the founder and CEO of ShoutOut, a simple recognition platform designed to help companies build a culture of gratitude.
My experience, combined with an MBA and a Master of Human Resource Management, has given me a deep understanding of the connection between business, people and high performance. In 2019, I was recognised for my contribution to the professional services industry with a 40 Under 40 Award.
I’ve achieved the career, financial and lifestyle goals that define success for me, reaching financial independence in 2025. I now live a work-optional life focused on my passions and values.

Donna is a regular speaker, panelist and panel host specialising in leadership, culture, diversity and inclusion, business growth and financial independence. Donna's current rates are: $1500 for speaking engagements up to 1 hour, $1000 for panel host services, and $500 for panellist engagements.
Donna was invited as one of the authors to be part of Lisa Evans’ third book in the Stories from the Heart series: Tales of Change. Lisa has been aware of Donna’s epic life stories, including growing up in a cult, being a victim of domestic violence and having near-fatal accidents which not many people know.
Donna said YES to Lisa’s invitation and the challenge of writing her personal stories with the hope that her story of change could help others. Donna says:
